Milk Container Recycling - June 1, 2009!

As of June 1, 2009, a refundable deposit will be paid by consumers on purchases of milk and cream in ready-to-serve containers. Because of this, these containers will now be accepted at the bottle depot for refund of the deposit. Therefore, as of June 1, the Beverage Container Recycle Program will be accepting milk and cream containers in your regular pickup by Recycle Enterprises.

Recycle Enterprises

Recycle Enterprises is a convenient, simple, and cost-free way to recycle containers, bottles, and cans and purchase essential products. Owned and operated by Winnifred Stewart Association, Edmonton’s local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, Recycle Enterprises offers two programs: Beverage Container Recycling and Green Goods sales of blue bags, trash bags, and Christmas gift wrap.
